SELFIE for TEACHERS (https://education.ec.europa.eu/selfie-for-teachers) is a self-reflection tool for primary and secondary teachers. SELFIE for TEACHERS gives a snapshot of digital capabilities. It helps to learn more about the teachers' digital skills and identify areas where they can develop further.
SELFIE for TEACHERS works simply. Teachers first answer a series of reflective questions to assess their confidence and experience in using digital technologies, tools, and resources for teaching, communicating, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting learners' digital skills. Then an automated report is received, showing the respondents' current capabilities in each area, along with suggestions on how to improve.
In this Module, we help connect the automated SELFIE-reports to everyday situations from your own pedagogical experience. We support you in translating the automated suggestions to personal development goals in your real school context.
